PhosphoTech sponsors CNRS mission in Antarctica

The main objective of this expedition led by Bertand Bouchard, a .Ph.D. student at the CNRS in Montpellier (center of functional and evolutionary ecology), was to test the use of chemical signals (olfactory and gustatory) by humpback whales to locate areas Feeding where you will find krill, their main prey.

The krill enzymatic hydrolyzate produced by PhosphoTech was used to study the behavior of these cetaceans.

Access to the Antarctic continent took place on the edge of the Ocean Tramp Ocean, a 66-foot aluminum ketch in Ushuaia, Argentina.
